THE TWELVE BENEFITS ASSOCIATED WITH COMMUNION

When we partake of the bread [Jesus Body] and the Fruit of the Vine [Jesus Blood],

There are twelve distinct benefits that are ours to receive by Faith.

[1] Revelation, [2] Fellowship, [3] Covenant Blessings, [4] Redemption,

[5] Life, [6] Intimacy with God, [7] Forgiveness, [8] Cleansing,

[9] Healing-Wholeness [10] God’s Presence [11] Strength for Battle [12] Deliverance

It is our prayer that each time you celebrate the Lord’s Table; your heart will be enriched in every way.

May you continue to look ahead to that day when He shall break bread and drink the fruit of the vine with you in His Kingdom

PASSOVER

(1Co 11:23)  For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

(1Co 11:24)  And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
"Do this to call Me (Affectionately) to remembrance."

(1Co 11:25)  After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
"Do this, as often as you drink (it), to call Me (affectionately) to remembrance."

(1Co 11:26)  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

As believers in Jesus Christ we have so much to be grateful for as we, by faith, continue to partake of His life.

CARE 12 ... THE FOUR PRAYER WATCHES OF THE NIGHT
April 01, 2012

A TIME TO WATCH

Many believe we have entered a time of maturing in the WATCHMAN anointing.

To watch means to look out, to peer into the distance, to investigate or get a new scope on something, to see an approaching danger (II Kings 9:17-18) and WARN those endangered,

To Watch also means to review and evaluate your household (Prov. 31:27),

or to SEE so you can GUARD your FUTURE. Many believe God wants to restore the actual WATCHES so His people can see things never seen before.

God is reordering our day so we can enter into His time frame and experience the power of seeing what He sees. What does reorder mean? As we give order to our prayers, He will order our steps. As we watch with the Lord, He will begin to reorder the time frame of our day. Order is the opposite of confusion. Order means to set in a straight row, with a fixed or definite plan, linked with the law of arrangement and the sequencing of events. Order is a state or condition in which everything is in its right place and functioning properly. Order is a request, commission, command, direction, or instruction.

Order is linked with everything we are about. As we watch, God is reordering our day.

THE NIGHT WATCHES

  • The biblical day actually begins at 6 PM (sunset).
  • As we learn to watch in the time frames prescribed by the Lord, we will see our “light” part of day reordered, becoming very efficient.
  • There are certain spiritual dynamics that happen in each watch.
  • There are certain victories that are only gained during certain watches.
  • The Jews like the Greeks and Romans divided the night into military watches instead of hours.
  • Each watch represented the period for which sentinels or pickets remained on duty.
  • This produced the “watch in the night” (Ps. 90:4).
  • When Rome established supremacy and began to influence the Church the number of watches was increased to FOUR which are described as follows:
  • As we watch with the Lord our assignments will become very clear.
  • We will receive the right counsel from Him that we need for the future.
  • He will develop His mind in us as we watch with Him.

The early Christians considered it a normal part of life to observe regular Prayer Watches.

The giving of the tithe (2hr.40min.) of twenty four hour day can be done during the four prayer watches of the night.

These prayer watches were designed to maintain the practice of offering God a continual sacrifice of praise and prayer.
